Hiking/Nature Trails/Wildlife Viewing – Flagler Reservoir State Wildlife Area - 5 miles East on Co Rd U, 570 acres, Open year-round, No fee.  Covered picnic areas, restrooms, hiking trails, camping and wildlife viewing.

Swimming – Seasonal (Mid May through July) - Located inside Flagler School at 421 Julian Ave.

Disc Golf – 9 Hole course - Located at Flagler School 421 Julian Ave. - Funded by CO Health Foundation through an Outdoor Learning Environment Grant - Instructions, map of course, frisbee (disc), and score sheet are available in Prairie Trails Lobby.

Flagler Town Park; East 2nd Street (corner of Ruffner & 2nd) - New playground equipment 2016, covered picnic areas, pavilion, restrooms, 3 historical monuments

Lavington Park; East 3rd Street - Nice shaded picnic area, quiet

Shiny Rails Park; 14 E 2nd Street (across street on south end of Prairie Trails Lodge - Swings, tetherball, sand volleyball, horseshoes, picnic tables

Town Hall Park; 311 Main Ave - Shaded picnic area, close to library and town hall
